Who are we?

Welcome to DAMS

‘Life is like riding a bicycle, to keep your balance, you must keep moving’  Albert Einstein

This is a good example for implementation in the field of airway management. Airway management is a cornerstone of patient safety in anesthesiology, emergency medicine and critical care medicine. Deficiencies in airway management skills could have catastrophic results for our patients.

Difficult Airway Management Society (DAMS) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization. The mission of DAMS is to spread awareness, teaching, education, and research regarding airway management and how to face the unusual challenges that may arise when dealing with a difficult airway. DAMS is particularly interested in supporting physicians and health care practitioners in the Middle East, North Africa (MENA), and Gulf Area (GCC).

DAMS is designed to enhance your education and clinical skills by combining education, teaching, and training to help you adapt to the latest advancements in airway management technology.

Our society is ready to provide technical guidance and training by offering various basic and advanced airway courses, workshops, simulation, hands-on clinical training, educational videos, and resources, in addition to being consistently updated with the local and international guidelines including the latest equipment, innovations, and techniques in the field of airway management. Practitioners in this field are guided by an international expert team to build their skills and leadership abilities in order to gain the confidence and skills needed to take charge in the operating room.

In the end our aim is to disseminate both education and knowledge in airway management that will help to serve patients with the best available.

Best Regards
